The Cadwalader Center for Community Service is an organization within Cadwalader that is specifically dedicated to coordinating and supporting Cadwalader’s many community-based activities and its charitable giving, in order to maximize the firm’s impact in the many communities in which we work and live. Specifically, The CCCS aims to accomplish the following goals:
- Contribute to our community and the legal profession and embody the Firm’s core values: leadership within the profession and community and a commitment toward building a working environment of integrity, learning and mutual respect;
- Recognize current and former Cadwalader attorneys and other employees who contribute to the community and the legal profession;
- Provide learning opportunities; and
- Provide mentorship opportunities.
Cadwalader is proud that its attorneys and staff work closely with their communities to make them kinder, more promising, and better for all of us. Taking pride in incorporating service into their lives and making a difference in their communities are accomplishments in themselves, as well as worthwhile reasons to serve. Working together we are able to improve lives, connect to others and strengthen our communities.
In addition, Cadwalader attorneys devote thousands of hours in pro bono assistance to organizations and individuals who cannot afford quality legal representation. Through our programs, we strive to lead by example, offering our time, knowledge and expertise. No matter the issue, our diverse pro bono efforts are connected by a common thread: our dedication to pursuing excellence in service to our clients and to contribute to the well-being of our communities.
