A Reflection on the Plight of Survivors
by Tyanne Bryce, Benedictine Academy, Class of 2015
It happened so quick
In the blink of an eye
They took me, they took me
There were three or five
Never, never would have I thought
That this could even be a thought
Ching, ching the chains cling
Months and years they all linger by
Through the window I see no hope
The more I scream the more I choke
When will they see, they can’t do this to me?
When will they see?
