Services Description: In Washington D.C., FAIR Girls provides emergency response services and individualized care to domestic and foreign-born trafficked girls ages 11 to 21. Emergency teams provide: (1) Immediate crisis intervention; (2) Crisis and long-term counseling; (3) Initial overnight support; (4) Clothes/basic toiletries; (5) Referrals to safe shelter, pro bono legal support, medical clinics. FAIR Girls accepts client referrals from law enforcement, government agencies, social workers, teachers, local partners, the community. JewelGirlsis a FAIR Girls economic empowerment and therapeutic art program for teen women; participants create unique jewelry while gaining access to therapy, new life skills, financial management skills; 50% of proceeds go directly to the individual girl artist, with the balance used to buy supplies and materials to sustain her program.
